My family really loves to travel places. One of the places I would really like to explore would be mainland China. I want to learn basic Mandarin in this class. I plan to use it when I travel to Mandarin-speaking places. I hope to learn how to say hello, order food, and ask for directions. I also want to learn how to pronounce words correctly and understand some basic Chinese characters. I think learning Mandarin will make my trips more enjoyable and help me understand Chinese culture better.
